there some pictures let me know what you guys think. this was the best way to do it tossed around a couple ideas and had to scrap a few but this should look great. i just got it in primer have a little more sanding to do then i am painting it i hope to have it done next week.

 

So it's gonna be a permanent fixture in there? I'd be all for this, but I want the ability to remove it. Anyone with a cold climate will prematurely kill the ipad (or whatever tablet) if it's left outside a lot in freezing temperatures

but it looks great so far

 

i live in Chicago so it will not be permanent. the fiberglass housing that i mad will be permanently mounted to the car but the trim panel there is only four clips holding that in so it pops out really easy
