Any updates?

 

well all most had it all done. but when i was working on the backing piece i knocked it off the work bench and broke it. so i am waiting for my new bezel to come so i can start over! i am doing a tad different design this time so it will be lighter and not as fragile. i will have some more pictures and updates.

 

I moulded an ipad mini into my dash

someone needs to make the ipad easily removable

 

Mine removes very easy. Pop out facia.

 

that's not easy. i want something that would slide out in like 5 sec if you go to the mall or something and park

Just got my new dash trim piece in today! because i have been waiting on that for so long i started more project for the car. so i remade the backing mount our of fiberglass and put some metal to cover the back of it. so this time i am going to make it mount really easy so i can take the i pad out quick. it all going to be done with a high power magnet. this time i am also going to use less material on the trim. i am going to try and do it will mostly plastics and a top coat glaze to get it perfect for paint. as soon as i have some pictures i will upload them.

 

will you still have to pull the dash trim off or are you going to make it mount like a normal clip-in/slide-in mount?
