I don't think it will as the Evo has a wider body style than a normal lancer. The actual WRC car is an actual Lancer with normal Lancer tail lights and head lights.

Thanks for the reply. The chassis is the same though right? It might be worth my whole to find an es in the scrap yard to try. There's a certain loom I want to achieve. I'm aware the wrc car is a lancer. I dig the fenders wider than bumper look in those instances.

Is the non USDM base lancer bumper lower profile too just like the jdm ix rear?

IIRC a while back I read that the evo chassis starts as a lancer chassis and then they add an additional 220 frame welds to stiffen it up. With that being said I dont see why the dimensions of the chassis would be much different.

As far as lower profile, are you referring to the length or width?

I was selling my Lancer Evolution IX USDM bumper a while back and a guy with a Lancer called me up saying me needed the bumper cause he got rear ended. He said that he was sure the bumpers were interchangeable. Not sure if hes right though, but that guy was thinking the same thing as you.

I dont think it will fit without some serious heating and bending. The lancer bumper is certainly not as wide as the evo one.

Have you considered the JDM evo VII or VIII bumper? Theyll fit for sure and arent as big as the USDM bumper or as flashy as the JDM IX one.

absolutely, but 700+ shipping is absurd pricing to me. Ive seen a JDM IX bumper on a base, but Im not sure if it was a replica, or the real deal. Came up on google and ive since lost those results. lol

If I had the cash, i would have a vii bumper I believe.

Worth asking, thanks for the help!
