Hi guys, having issues with my drivers side headlight flickering when I turn on the ignition then going out. I've checked the relays which seem fine, and also the earths from the main fuse box. From what I can gather the symptoms are not conducive for a bulb issue? Ballast maybe? I've recently had a new clutch put in so wondering if something's been disturbed when they replaced it. The headlights are standard BTW. Any suggestions would be great. (Forgot to mention I'm a total novice when it comes to electrics so keeping it simple would be awesome!)

 

swap the left and right ballast, see if the issue follows the ballast or stays with the light

 

all my cars that flickers like that ended up being the ballast.
I'll suggest doing what llDemonll said by switching the ballast to make sure it is at fault.

Other than that, check if all connections are securely connected.
I had a loose fitting coupler once, that caused the lights to flicker.
