I understand people like authentic products, as do I and everyone else. The problem is certain prices just don't add up. They are just lights. For the price of some of these "authentic" items you could do engine builds/turbos/etc. buying an overpriced, sorry, HIGHLY overpriced item just because it's "authentic" for me doesn't make sense.

 

Exactly. Thats also why its cool to have authentic wheels. If everyone could afford them, you would see them on most of the cars out there and it wouldnt be special to see anymore.

We must agree to disagree my friends. I do have the money, I just don't like throwing money away. What if you bought the $1700 headlamps, and a week later something happened and one of them became damaged? You'd be f'd lol.

 

I also find it odd that this forum contradicts itself sometimes. You have people on here that will go out and buy aftermarket upgrades cause they say they're better than factory parts. Then you have threads like this one where people say it makes more sense to have authentic parts... Hmmmm

 

All depends on what you're referring to dude. Some aftermarket parts are better than stock, and vice versa. Would you set out to build an 800hp motor with stock pistons/rods? I hope not.
