Install HID on Non HID Evo

I bought hid headlights for my non hid Evo. The harnesses don't fit and im wondering if I replace the evo 6 pin harness with the 8 pin hid harness, will that work? Or is there more to it?

Where did you get them from? You're suppose to be able to select what type of harness you have when ordering

My Evo VII came with regular headlights from factory and when I installed the HIDs the connectors were exactly the same. Totally plug and play.

I'm not sure but I think the difference is just the electric height adjustment motors, that the US models lack. You could make an adapter or mod the headlights harness with some US headlights pigtails.
