Bought an evo and the gas gauge has never worked. Could it be a fuse issue or wiring?

 

Gotta love the internet. You don't have the vehicle before you. You don't know it's history. You can't see what the gauge does or doesn't do. You don't know if the fuel light works.

 

Um yeah, gotta love the internet. The problem is likely the fuel level sensor on the fuel pump assembly. If you search the how to section for fuel pump replacement you find how to pull it. If it's not that it could also be the gauge itself. Search dash cluster removal to see how to get that out. That should get you started.
