While trying to merge onto the highway today i turn on my left turn signal and it decided it want to stay on and be a nuisance. Pulled over to the closest oreilly store to check it out. Found all my left side turn light are on front and rear. The relay still clicks when you pull the signal handle. Hazard and right side still works EXCEPT when hazard is on the left wont go in and out. Found someone on the forum with the same issue but his was on the right side. His issue was a corroded wire connectors or harness from rain at the side kick column. I checked mine and no issue like his. No corrosion. Checked ALL my fuses that has ANY indication of a light bulb on it since i cant find the dam fuse location in the manual. All tested good. Pulled cluster and checked harness and cluster, still good. Reseated the said connectors for ****s and giggles. Still the same ****. Wtf is going on? Any help?
@MrEvo9Mong From the wiring diagram in the FSM, and based on your symptoms, you must have a failed relay (stuck on) in the ETACS ECU for the left hand turn signals. This is the red box that makes the ignition key reminder tone under the dash by your left knee. You will need to find a replacement ETACS-ECU (Mitsu. Pt. No. MR530918) and wack it in, or pull the existing ETACS apart, and identify and replace the failed relay.

Very well. Parts ordered. If the case this issue is not resolved with said part, then I’ll have to play electrician for a bit with the provided diagram. Will report back. Thank you.
