My Dyno #'s with GT35R

Went to the dyno today and got some numbers with pump gas and 21 lbs boost.
Numbers were 370 RWHP and 352lbs torque. This was done on a Dynapack dyno. Do these numbers seem low or about right? Mods are in my sig.

I will post the graph tomorrow. I got full boost at 4250 RPM.

Thats does seem kinda low considering you have a gt35. However u were running pump gas. You should see a big increase with race fuel. How did you determine you got full boost @4250 rpm? I'm running a smaller version of your turbo (Hks 3037s) and only getting full spool @ 4850rpm. Made 380whp on a dynojet on pump fuel. No cams...stock long block.

Those are good pump gas numbers especially for only 21 psi of boost.

i think the numbers are a little low. i put down around 340 on the 3037 on a dynodynamics with pump gas and spikin 23-24 and tapering off to 20. that equals about 390 on a dynojet. you posted rwhp did you mean awhp?

our mods are similar except for my manifold. who tuned the ams? also was it 91 or 93 octane pump gas?

props for spoolin so quickly. i dont spool until about 4850 like woobos.

anyways, 370 is nothin to sneeze at. congrats man. isnt it awesome when the boost hits? like you got rear ended.

In 3rd gear, at what RPM do you reach 21 psi?

The dyno has a Boost/RPM graph. Yea I figure once I run some race gas and bump the boost it should put down well over 400.

Yea, I thought it might put down a little more, but Im not complaining. Im not sure what the difference is between a Dynojet and a Dynapack in terms of numbers. I did mean awhp and this was on 93 octane with me tuning the AEM. I had Mark at Quantum Racing checkout the map on the AEM and everything looked good.

The car does pull well. I tune alot of 400HP+ RX-7's and this car feels very close to some of them.

Those are VERY low numbers. Somthing is wrong. Hell a stock turbo does that if you ask it to. The 50 Trims make 450WHP on pump gas, and the GT35R can make 500+ on pump gas.

Its gotta be tuning, 21PSi on that turbo is like over 30 on a 16G and half the intake temps and twice the efficiency. Add timing/??

I think the AMS kit on a DD should put down about 420ish on pump and about 520ish on Race gas.

Are you currently running 128mph on pump gas? How many people on this board are currently doing that or close? Do you realize how easy it is to say that but how hard it is to do it? It is very possible, just not as easy as it sounds.

His numbers are not bad for first trip to the dyno. There is room for improvement but it is a good base.

Seen it done on pump gas and hit 132 on race gas. This is a BIG turbo, it should make BIG power, and with cams and a EMS it will when properly tuned.

Yes it should make big power. However you say it like everybody should be running 128mph on pump gas. How much boost was the 128? How much boost with the 132? Was there meth/water/alky used on the pump gas run? Most importantly was this on a full weight evo 8?
