When you step on the gas in 5th or 4th gear on freeway, the rev. went up before the car start going faster. What went wrong?

I have ACT installed for about 5000 miles few month ago. Yes, I had similar symton before the stock clutch gone but even at stop and go. Can the ACT clutch last even less than stock (18k miles)? Can't be!

Any possible problem beside clutch? Please advise. Thanks.

 

bad installation job? Flywheel not properly resurfaced?

 

sounds like it is slipping honestly, thats why my stock was doing, exactly like that

 

Just want to update on this. Stopped by RRE and Mike adjusted the clutch pedal and it started getting better now. Damm dealer doesn't do it right no wonder I never feel right from the installation.

By the way, anybody care to explain why adjusting the pedal made different? I forgot to ask Mike since it was too late in the evening. RRE is awsome that why I bough my clutch there.
