Right now on my evo i have a K&N typhoon intake, HKS HI-Power catback exhaust, and a greddy type-S BOV. Would anyone have an idea about how much power im putting out with these simple mods? Also, im not trying to go real big....so my goal is to reach at least 300WHP. What other mods can i do to reach this goal? thanks.

 

right now prob. about 250-260 area...if u want 300whp...get a flash, DP, MBC running around 21psi....that should do it for 93oct....

 

getting the rest of your exhaust from the turbo back would probably help (turbo outlet, down pipe, cat delete/high flow) and I dunno, a S-AFC and boost controller??

A Vishu stg 1 package will not only meet or exceed your 300WHP goal but it will give you smooth and reliable power all the way through the power band. Since you already have a cat back, all you need to purchase to complete the package is a downpipe, a cat delete pipe, vishu cam gears(set at -5,-5 or as recommended by vishnu) and a Vishnu Xflash($395) or XEDE($895) and you'll be good to go. Save some money, sell the K&N typhoon intake and get a K&N panel filter as they don't recommend the use of them anyway. The stg 1 performance is incredible, it's worth every penny.

The K&N intake and BOV aren't doing much, take 'em or leave 'em.

Completing your exhaust (3" all the way) with a down pipe and cat, getting a mbc and recalibrating the ECU should get you ~300 Dynojet whp about as cheaply as can be done.
