I just put on a test pipe and...........DAMN!!!!!!

Cal from Gruppe-S sold me a Helix titanium test pipe and I wanted to give it a try hearing from people that test pipes give substantial gains....so I went ahead and installed it......and DAMN!!!!!!....thats all I can say...

PROS:
-YOU CAN HONESTLY FEEL A DIFFERENCE!!!
-There's so much more power and its more consistent!
-Sounds meaner too!!!
- dyno gave me 21 hp increase!!! from 302 to 323whp

CONS:
-REALLY LOUD....knowing it was titanium, the metal density is lower and so the sound is even emphasized.....actually not THAT loud but noticeable difference...
- I hate the SMELL in the start but dissipating now..
- RISK of getting caught with it....

so with that said...I will post my dyno numbers tommorow and pics of my STUPH!!!!but yeah if you want some serious power gain for cheap but RISKY....get a test pipe!!!

What I had on my car:
works P2 flash, tanabe downpipe, Espelir Exhaust, Apexi intake, greddy upper i/c pipe.......

Can you install just a test pipe without a full exhaust system? I'm pretty new to that part of modding a car so I'm not even sure about it.

Been there, done that. Let it idle for 15 minutes after reconnecting too.
