NX Ntercooler
You guys are prolly gonna get pissy for me bringing this up but curiousity is killing me. I was on Machevo.com and I saw that they said the NX Ntercooler gave them something like 48.3 more hp when running CO2 in the bottle. Has anyone put this on their Evo? I also did try and search for this topic but I could not find anything!! Thanks for the help.

Yes.
You arm it (turn the system on), then you spray it. You can rig it up so that it is only armed when you are at the track, and only spraying when it is armed and you are at wide open throttle and at a certain RPM, you can wire it so that it only sprays when you are in gear, you can wire it so that it sprays when you are pressing over a certain PSI. Of course, all of those things will need additional switches and relays, but it can be done. I know for a fact, though, that it somes with an arming switch and a spray switch/button.
Hope this helps.

You weren't beating STi's before?
Also, I'm not trying to talk bad about this product, but think about it first.
On a dyno, the car is sitting still. Nitrous comes out and evaps over the FMIC/Nitrous gets ingested into the car's intake/Nitrous enters the combustion chamber. More power is made.
On the track, the car is moving. Nitrous comes out and evaps over the FMIC/Nitrous gets sucked back under the car.
Is this acurate? Who knows. I have never done the testing, and dyno's have big *** cooling fans that probably do a good job of simulating the car's forward movement when drag racing, but still. I would ask for this to be dyno'ed on both N2O and CO2. Mach V only posted results of an N2O fill, and then recommended that you fill it with CO2, for cost effectiveness.
Once again, it might be good, it might be bad. This is one of those products that I have not personally tested yet.
one thing i wonder about... if a bit of that power comes from N2O being ingested, CO2 wouldn't be a good alternative... CO2 has an ability to rob power...
but all in all... all I've read on this, I'm going with this NX kit myself......

Here's my original post on my results at the dyno. I used nitrous in the bottle, not CO2. I did not retest with CO2 in the bottle, so I can't give a direct comparison. The coldness would be the same, but as mentioned, CO2 is a combustion inhibitor, whereas N2O is a combustion facilitator.
I'd basically say using CO2 would be fine if your intake is sealed off or unlikely to injest the gas. Stock intake would be fine. But if you have an open element filter down low, I would advise against CO2. Drawing CO2 into your intake would be bad for power.
Results might not be the same at the track or on a public road; obviously a dyno is not the same as a road or a track. I have had anecdotal reports that the N-Tercooler is very effective at the drag strip, but no hard numbers.
