How much boost can the Type S BOV hold??

Ok, my Type S does that nifty flutter right, but it does it as I'm accelerating basically feels like it can't hold the boost. I've tried tightening and loosening, but nothing seems to work, I go full throttle and the car doesn't.

What do ya'll think...I don't have a lot of mods yet, a few bolt ons, 3" Invidia TBE with test pipe, ARC intake, Profec B EBC, NX Ntercooler sprayer, and Greddy Type S BOV....running 16lbs on low, 22 on high boost. Why does the BOV do that and how can I fix it or do I just need a different one? There are no vacuum leaks and everything was checked and double checked. Thanks!!

Something else you might want to consider here. When I was running into boost flutter problems on my WRX, it turned out that the wastegate spring was too soft. Had to go from an 8lb spring to a 15lb spring.

Then again, I'm an Evo n00b, so everything I say can pretty much be chalked up to conjecture and B.S. at this point.

Cool

are you using both ports on the BOV?? the two smaller ports?? that seemed to cure my problem of leaking that little bit. the top port should go to a boost source, while the bottom port should go to a non boosted source.
