Need Greddy type-s advice please

I'm still a newbie to bov's. Can someone explain to me why my revs jump up while shifting? I know it has to do with the bov because it just started when I installed the Greddy type-s. At first I only turned the adjustment screw 3 full turns and it did not happen, but boost was not holding???? So I tried to tighten the screw and now the revs jump up only when getting on it. By the way I still don't hold boost. I have a Greddy profec b spec II so I know I need to mess around with the tuning on that as well. For now my concern is holding boost 20-21 psi and not having the revs jump. Any info would help thanks.

After the meet we had tonight it all good now. And John if you read this I get the boost to hold at 20.5 in 4th and 5th all the way. Now I just need to find the right setting for 1st through 3rd. I still wonder what caused this in the first place? Anyone have a clue?

the the greddy type s.... I hate them for the evo~ all the spring mods you have to do, just buy a blowoff valve that is compatible already with high boost. Step it up to the greddy type-r best blowoff valve i've owned... and its quiet

My cel had nothing to do with this, but I still can not figure out what is wrong with my car. When I boost and then shift my rpm's jump about 700 rpm's and then fall off until I push on the gas. Had anyone ever heard of this? I have tried everything with the bov. I may just go back to stock or get the HKS.

As I continue to try and solve this issue I may have it fixed. I put both springs in the bov and now the problem is gone but now it flutters. I have the screw pretty tight so I hope the flutter will be just about gone with the screw almost all the way out.
