The 2.4 is fun. Good luck with the new motor

We have a 2.3L setup ready to go! It lowers compression from 8.8:1 to 8.5:1 to give it a little more headroom on making good pump-gas horsepower. For daily driving, autocrossing, & some road racing the stroker works very well. We did a customers auto-x car and it's super responsive and torque is way up. Call the shop and we can talk it over.

BTW we have better sealing options for keeping headgaskets sealed under high psi. If you alter head-gasket thickenss remember the distance from the cam-gears to the crank will change and now your cam timing will be a little off, same if you shave the head or block, just something to think about.

Martin,

In the Modified article it stated that you used 8.8:1 pistons... do you still have that option? Some of us would like stock, or even 9:1 for our daily driver.

Yes, that is our standard bore EVO VIII drop-in piston. I would stay away from 9:1, you don't gain much torque or power and it makes it a little harder to tune on pump gas.

Ok.. I've been researching a bit on the 2.3, I have a block and head ready and waiting to send out to a shop to do the work.. I am the "poster child" for street driven power so I believe in the stroker simply for the gains in torque and I have no interest in C16 dyno numbers or race gas runs on the track.. Everything I plan to do is specifically with street tuning in mind (Alcohol injection WILL be used however)

Again, with all of this said, seeing that the quickest cars are running 2 liter motors, helped along by big turbos..

Now, here's the question of the day.. Someone PM Me with a price for a full ported head, matched to a ported extrudehoned intake manifold, on a stroker 2.3l.. Please, something reasonable and you'll get my business, I have cores ready to go... I need to "drop it in and go"..
