It's a bit outdated in reference to the XEDE.
He got it from my ECU+ site (http://www.ecuplus.com/compare.htm). The table was as up-to-date as the info I could find as of mid-October, and as far as I can find on the XEDE's EVO page (http://www.vishnutuning.com/xede_evo.htm), it's still up-to-date. If you update your site, send me a link and I'll be happy to update the table. My approach on this was that I wanted to reflect the public information about competing products, but not reflect beta-ish or coming-soon features, so I just parrot what I find on the product web sites. Note that I'm not saying that the XEDE doesn't have the features you mentioned, but if the Vishnu site isn't willing to advertise them, I'm not gonna advertise them for you

ShapeGSX - same deal on the DSMlink. I've been hearing that the 1G version is "coming soon" for ages, and as soon as the 'link guys announce it on their site I'll be glad to update the table. No offense to you, but I received a huge load of you-know-what from several 'link customers (not Tom or Dave) early on about this table, and so the above goes double for changes with respect to that product.

DSMLink is available for 1Gs now, it just isn't being heavily advertized because they can't keep up with demand.

There are people with it in their 1G cars. And they are posting on the DSMLink forums.

Shiv, sorry, I'm not familiar with the terminology: MAT and CLT?

So you will see different ignition timing advance based on past knock events? How much of a difference in timing advance can it make? How severe does knock have to be, and for how long for this to happen?

All this stuff would be so much easier if the Evo had a decent internal ECU datalogger instead of this OBDII crap.

that's not a 1g specific dsmlink product. that's people using a 1g-2g harness and using a 2g eprom ecu. There's quite a few people doing that.

the second they make a product like dsmlink for the evo... I'm all over it. I'll take that over any stand alone or piggy-back...any day.

AAAAH! NO IT ISN'T! I've soldered up a 2G ECU in a 1G harness before. I know the difference. 1G DSMLink has BEEN RELEASED! It works in any 1G DSM EPROM ECU. It comes with its own datalogging cable. It comes with a small circuit board with extra non-volitile memory on it, as well as the DSMLink EPROM. The circuit board plugs into the ECU.

Basically, the only way to get 1G DSMLink at the moment is if you were on the "notify me when 1G DSMLink is released list." I'm sure it will ship in larger numbers very soon. Orders were first taken for it on November 1st.

wow, don't bite my head off dude... I've got dsmlink for my 99gsx.... i guess i was never on any "list" for the 1g version... but I do personally know 2 1g owners who bought 95 ecu's and wired them into their 1gs to use dsmlink. It's not advertised anywhere on their site, and I haven't been on their forums since summer...

Not on there, like a lot of things I left out... it was like my 3rd post when I made this thread... I left out all the reflashes and things like the S-AFC and all those fun things, like the ECU+... All I did was copy from the EMS section of the forums and post

My plans are EMS with a GT30, I dont think an SAFC can cover all the parameters like an SAFC can. An SAFC with a Flash, probably, the SAFC to interface, but by the time you add up the dollars to every time you mod it you need a reflash, big turbo users should opt out for the EMS. The ems with a flash to pass emissions is the ultimate, and figure, 500 horses on a GT35 with pump gas and a smooth powerband is more than an SAFC/MAF/16G can handle.

The HKS V Pro is a great part. The tuning is very fast with it, requires a lot less input than the AEM EMS to tune with. The down side to it is the end user being able to tune it. I have some V-Pro's here instock for the EVO, as we are an HKS Pro Dealer.

Anyone interested in having one put on their EVO should contact us as I'd love to get a few out there. I would cut you a hell of a deal.
