EVO Fuel Filter Location

Hey guys...i did a search, but only found stuff for the OZ. Where is the fuel filter(s) for the Evo? My car is starting to act up again. Last time it was crap in the fuel filter and the fuel pump. I wanted to see if i could pull the fuel filter to see if it is somehow getting loaded with crap again. Thanks for the help!

In the tank attached to the fuel pump. Otherwise, I don't think there is one.

A better description would be the pump is attached to the fuel filter.....

Basically the complete assembly including float must be replaced for a good bit of money.

The fuel filter is attached to the fuel pump. The whole assembly does not have to be replaced. The filter can be replaced on its own. Just search for the instructions on how to install the Walbro fuel pump to see how to remove the stock fuel pump. The filter is attached to the bottom of the pump. Shouldn't take you too long to pull the pump and visually inspect the filter.

I'm sorry to say that you have this wrong. The filter you cite is just a pickup filter. The real filter is up inside of the assembly.

Frankly - its one of the only things I rellay do not't like about the evo - in a year or two a lot of guys are not going to like to shell out $280 to change the fuel filter
