compression test done after break in results

Today was such a nice and sunny day outside I just had to go tinker with the car. I figured since I just completed my break in a few days ago that I would go out there and do a compression test. My results were 175-175-173-173. The engine was warm but not hot when I did the test. I looked up other members results and I think I am right where I should be. I guess its time to start ordering performance goodies.

Yes it is very easy to do.

First off dont do it when engine is really hot.

1. Pull off spark plug wire cover. (4 10mm bolts)
2. Remover the 2 coil packs located above cylinders 2 and 4. (3 10mm bolts on each coil pack)
3. Remove spark plug wires off of cylinder 1 and 3.
4. Remove all spark plugs.
5. Remove Fuel pump fuse located under hood on driver side fuse/relay compartment
6. Install compression tester into cylinder 1.
7. Hold gas pedal to floor and crank engine 5-6 times.
8 Repeat steps 6 and 7 through the rest of the cylinders.

Compression test complete.
