I got the ACT. I wouldn't get Exedy, it's hell on traffic.

Evomiz, call on me when you're ready for the install. I beat all local tri-state area prices. I would just use a stock flywheel, the Fidanzas are nice but no noticable difference is felt, other than people believing so in order to justify their purchase.

Oh gosh I have to justify the additional $14 bucks because I have the ACT and the Fidanza. The Fidanza costs as little as $333 and has a replacable steel ring that costs $50 if you ever burn one. The stock flywheel is $319.
I got the set with CA sales tax and UPS shipping for under $900. If you are after a set check out Prostreet and RRE. I bought the heavy duty but there is also a more aggressive race version for very little additional cost. These combinations are popular with a lot of people on this site and no one with one is complaining.

On paper the aluminum Fidanza's lighter mass will not dampen vibrations as well as a heavier flywheel but the net difference isn't enough to make a noticable difference in real life. The stock Flywheel thins abruptly just outside of the center hub and in the middle of the friction surface. This area is where the stock f/w blues and aneals if you over heat it. Aluminum is a better heat conductor and that is an advantage as it pulls the heat from the replaceable friction ring section (this ring apprears to be steel as it is very white metal). Aluminum work hardens and over time that could cause the f/w to fracture near the bolt patern and that is a drawback.
