Hi everyone. I'm new to the EVO scene so I don't know what fits and what doesn't. I'm just wondering if the HKS RS intake would fit on the 05 MR? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

 

Yes it the same as every other evo.

 

It should fit, the intakes are the same.

 

Is it really true that putting on an aftermarket intake before anything else is bad? I'm reading other people's posts and they are saying that it will throw the MAS meter off. In turn lose some HP. I have no experience with MAS as I have been modding my Accord before I got the EVO. There is no MAS to worry about on Hondas. Please do varify this. I'm trying to get my very first mod on the car.

 

Tons of people run them with no problem. I ran the HKS RS for 7 months with no problem. I went with a different set up and still have no problems. If you are looking at an HKS RS lemme know.

 

HKS RS Intake makes 20whp on a stock EVO. Wonder what it would make on an MR.......

 

Ask some of the Vishnu guys... they are making 470whp+ on a stock air box.

 

For every one person making hp with a stock air box, there are 5 people doing it with an aftermarket one. Ask Buschur.....
