will Octane Booster raise boost?

i went to my local Kragen and got "The OutLaw Octane Booster" packed in 4 canister. i had my low boost setting around 18.4~18.8 psi on my HKS EVC. After the octane booster, it raise my boost to 19.4 most of the time. i tried few time to test it come and it have the same result. is it normal? or i should stop using it?

I don't really see how that is possible with the exact same settings but I have seen crazier stuff happen. The only way I know to alter your boost without changing the EBC is retard timing at your spool up rpm and this will cause to build faster. Some people do that and some dont but if the air temp was exactly the same before and after I don't what happened. If you want to purchase some really good octain booster by Torco. Costs about 13 dollars a can or so but it works really well.

It might not raise your boost, but it will most likely destroy your O2 sensors and cat-converter. Oh, and expect for your fuel injectors to clog up as well.

MMT's are bad.

Not Torco though, you should seriously check it out if you haven't.
