I've seen a ton of dyno results that prove otherwise. Facts like that in ink are pretty convincing.To the others who have replied, sorry I've missed some of this. The install isn't terribly hard, but you'd want to be very acclimated with how to work on a timing belt. If you're unsure, have a shop do it so you don't destroy your engine.
"Tuning" them with a dyno is a snap. -5/-5 are great for stock camshafts and make a ton of power. -2/-2 or -3/-3 are nice for any of the HKS cam combos, allowing you to make a little more up top, but give a very nice midrange kick.
The guy who helped me with the install now works for Vishnu and really knows his stuff, so its doutbful that there was an installation problem. The gears are set to -5/-5 and I do not see these amazing results you speak of. The car still runs fine.
As far as fuel management, I only have the walbro fuel pump. I don't have an engine management system. Is that what I need to unleash these increduble results?
