Exedy Twin Plate???

I have an Exedy Twin Plate on my 03 Evo now, would that fit on the new MR. Thinking of trading mine in if I get a good amount for the trade. I have a decent amount of mods that I don't wanna have to junk a lot. I believe all the mods will fit except curious about the clutch.

From what I heard, the Transmission is a lot bigger on MR than 03.

The MR uses the same flywheel and pressure plate as the '03-'04's, but uses a different clutch disk. The differences could be just a change in material or it could have a different spline count. Dunno. They are both 240mm disks however.

By the time you spend the $ on taking it out and then putting in the MR would it be worth it?

i highly doubt that the tranny on the MR is bigger. Maybe the clutch is stronger, but not the whoel tranny. Comparing our tranny with the DSM, the evo tranny is very big. It's a very strong and durable tranny if u know how to drive. THe exedy twin is junk in my book. I wouldnt waste my money on it. Go for Carbon-carbon clutch. worth the extra cash.

I'm to the understanding that the active center dif makes many makes of downpipes obsolete due to the new size (someone has already posted that they could not get the 03'/04' downpipe to fit an 05')... I have no clue about the clutch though.
