profec b II help

I installed my Profed b last night. And tried to set it up along the lines of the write up poste on here. But had a problem. No matter what setting i input, or if the unit in on or off i only boost to 8psi. I checked everything and its all connected nice and tight. No leaks that i can find. But i also noticed another thing with the unit. i tried to set the display to psi, but it never displays the psi or khpa on the bottom right. And when its just sitting there under normal driving it doesnt show boost, just shows #2, then goes to #3, then to #4. over the course of a few min. then stops at 5 or so. (thought this was susposed to diaplay real time pressuer)
Also on one of the install write ups here it was said to connect the 'com' hose to the turbo nipple, and the 'no' hose to the wastegate. But in the instructions it was 'no' to the turbo, and 'com' to the wastegate (which is how i connected it)
i removed all 3 plastic caps from the valve. t'd the signial from the frp.
the only thing i think may be causing a problem, is since i places the profec in the clock area the back is kind of tight up aginst the brace in the back, so that might be causing a hard bend in the vac hose going to the unit. Would that cause these problems? I'm going to pull it out some more after work. But thought it may be something else.. Any ideas?

It will display realtime pressure but is not the accurate (that is neither here nor there)

Anyway, check all of your connections. Did you leave the boost seliniod in the engine bay and connected to the harness. IF you removed this you will need to put it back and just cap the nipples coming from it. Also check to make sure that you have a good vacuum and boost source for the line running to the profec.

The NO is supposed to go to the turbo and the COM goes to the actuator.

I left the oem seliniod mounted on the car, with the line from the intake attached. Just capped the once that went to the turbo and wastegate.

It must be the vac line from the frp to the profec. Cause thats the only thing i can think of.. i t'd off that line to my t.timer also, but thats only minior. and shouldnt affect it.

Also does your's display the psi or kpa on the bottom? Mine doesnt and i wonder if i'm doing something wrong or its messed up

Ok got it working great now.. The vac connection to the back of the unit was kinked (due to the limited space) so i just pulled it out about an inch and that fixed it..
