Have you tried putting your silencer in just to toot around town for now until you figure out a better solution? Resonators will definitely help get rid of some droning.

I had a 3" o2 housing, 3" downpipe, 3" resonated test pipe, and 3" cat-back (1 resonator) on my 1g DSM before. I also had HKS 272s and an FP green turbo. That sh*t was barely tolerable to drive around in. I drive around the city, and the exhaust noise just reflects off the buildings and houses. I set off every single car alarm I drive by. I'm sure it would have been much louder w/o the resonators.

What bugs me the most is that Mustangs and Harleys have loud noise and no one on the streets seems to care and they only care when they see our big wing and mitsu on the back. I will try the test pipe soon if that does not work I have no choice beside the stock exhaust which will kill 20WHP or even more right there.

I have driven my friend's car behind my EVO and you can hear it humming all the way on the highway. No matter what we did its still annoying and started to get to me.

I posted here to get some ideas before I go ahead and maybe screw something wishing that you guys have some ideas (some did) no showing off was intended in anyway. I just wanted a solution or an idea, thats all.
My f150 had a single chamber flowmaster muffler. Two of my neighbors kindly asked why my truck was so loud.....eventually i switched the single chamber for a three chamber.
Try reinstalling your stock cat.....might make a difference

Exactly, I forgot to mention that I set every freaking alarm around me (all neighbors cars) even if I am driving in a parking lot you will see the cars lighting up like Christmas tree behind me.

man I listened to your sound clips and only heard the rattling you are talking about in the 3rd clip. I turned up the base on my CPU to get a realistic sound clip and it sounds awesome. Maybe the cheap interior isnt helping the rattling at all.

yep...

obviously, it seems like you don't track your car (not dragstrip, ok).
I find mine to be "quiet" compared to the hondas, porsches, and V8s at the track.
I wish I had your "problem".
Anyway, glad you are working towards a solution that will work for you.
BTW, when I'm driving on the streets (which is 95% of the time), to "mute" the sound, I have my high-flow cat installed.
