The wire harness is the same just no ACD stuff on 2003 and 2004 Evos and on 2005 their is no Intercooler water spray stuff. I believe thats it ohhh I forgot the gauge cluster has a couple more pins for the lights that showTarmac/Gravel/Snow or in the european clusters High/Mid /Low.

well after a couple of months i purchased an Evo VIII manual and found the Vehicle Speed Sensor...

if this helps anyone, it is the black wire with a yellow strip down the middle on the left connector of the ECU as you were sitting in the passanger seat.

I tapped into that wire. It didnt do a thing for me. I have an 05 Evolution and the timer is a Blitz DTT JDM model. Not one of the newer ones you can buy now. But yeah, that wire didnt work.

I have an Apexi TT on my 05 and it diabbled my keyless entry... I tried everything different harness, alternate config., still doesn't work... I disconnected the air/fuel that is useless... The TT works for turning the car off after a predetermined amount of time but that is about it... it is the one mod that I couldn't get right... I gave up
