OMG the work throttle body is the SH$t!!

A buddy of mine has VISHNU stage 0+ and I have VISHNU stage 1. He recently installed a works throttle body. In my car in third gear at 3000rpms it takes 2.5 seconds to hit max PSI and in his car he can do it in 1.6 seconds The thorttle response on the car is sick.

yea i've heard really good things about it. There's probably a 10whp gain across the powerband from the works throttle body

Some other company will make some soon. But for now Works makes them. Actually it's a stock TB that they just enlarged from the core of other customers.

Yes indeed it is. The original inner diameter measure out to be at 59 mm only. I got a machine shop to remachine it take a 63 mm max inner diameter using the same material. Response is awesome... Costs? 80 USD equivalent..

Let me rephrase that. Works "carry" not makes them, sorry, but yup if you guys know of a good machine shop and trust, you can have it done really really cheap.

I have the Works max bore T-boby and it's one of the best mods especially for anyone with lots of mods.

If you ask around, especially the Honda guys down there, they can direct you to a good machine shop, but you have to do your research on the shop. What I used to do, in my Honda days, was go to a junk yard and get a stock TB and have the machine shop bore out the TB and when it's time for smog testing, I throw back my stock TB back on.

I'm a little confused. Wouldn't this require a larger butterfly flapper on the inside?

I totally agree. As a matter of fact, after all the mods that I have installed, I was able feel the most performance increase from the WORKS TB. Don't know why but I felt the TB provided the most noticeable gains.
