A lot of these kits are over priced for no need. Like the Ralliart. That is just the name. Good quality but not worth that price.

I'd go with the 200 dollar Buschur pipe.

I am comming out with one by dec/jan made out of 304 polished stainless. It can be utilized with the stck battery and utilizes silicone couplers
I am shooting for the 160-180 range

what are the power gains from getting an aftermarket upper ic pipe. Does it really help and in what ways?

Well the diameter is likely wider- therefore better flow.. And more air = more power What are the specs of the stock IC pipe, vs aftermarket?

OMg.. chapter 8s pipe is sick. If that thing works with the stock airbox its the best designed piece i have seen yet. Im thinking a nice pipe like that, which smooths the airflow with + eliminates tubing which can baloon or leak combined with a port matched throttle body would produce some nice results. Any price estimates on that piece?

Well, the basic thing it does is widen and straighten the air path. Theoretically, this helps the turbos spool faster, so quicker throttle response. The Buschur site says their Upper IC pipe "eliminates 6 bends and 16" of length thereby reducing the flow restriction (less length, less bends, less restrictive flow). "

I was going with the Buschur (I have their exhaust/intake, which is great)until I got a great deal on a slightly used RMR hardpipe kit:

Thanks for the compliments all. Yeah I wanted to design the straightest possible pipe with the least amount of bends. I have to get set up as a authorized vendor I believe...so I have to do that.

As far as power increase you should expect 2-4 more hp....nothing major but it does look nice and should aide in spool up.
Unsure if it will fit the stock airbox...but I should know by this weekend.
I will be starting a thread on this soon in the for sale section once I get everything squared away with evoM.
Thanks for the interest guys
