So why does the revised BR UPPER IC Pipe cost $200 and the one that inconventiently DOESNT fit cost $330? I know its not the lower IC piping BR site says the IC comes with the lower IC pipings..?

The first BR upper ic pipe comes w/ a 1g BOV.

I believe their upper ic pipe is available in a black powdercoated or polished finish.

Yeah I just saw that, but BRAND NEW the 1g BOV costs $95 so that still $35 unaccoutned for? Guess Mr. Buschur will have to chime in!!!

Probably more labor involved in that pipe plus I think it includes more piping (to the intercooler).

He's right- it include the FULL piping for the upper IC. Does the chapter8 pipe go this far? OIr does it stop before the IC?

Chapter 8's is like the 200 dollar Buschur but for less $$. That's fine with me considering the ineffectiveness of an UICP anyways.... Better response, not really anymore power. You're splitting hairs debating between IC pipes. I say get the cheapest one.

You haven't been wrong yet! One thing is for sure though- the lower IC pipe doesn't do much...

yes my pipe is like Buschurs $200 but less. It only replaces the upper most pipe not the one connected to the I/C. Yes UICP dont yield much gains, its the one from the turbo to the IC that yields the biggest. On my car I have the greddy FMIC. This unit can be had for $700 with all lower pipes however I would not reccomend it for a upgraded turbo car.

hmmm really? I heard that the lower IC pipe doesn't do anything. Vivid and Buscher both told me that.

According to the shops who make and dyno lower pipes, your statement is wrong. It provides a moderately higher hp numbers than any upper pipe does.

No the lower really helps spool up and gives a bit of power. There is a noticeable difference.
