Well, there is but you would need to relocate your MAF sensor to a spot past your BOV on the IC piping. The HKS SSQV with EIDS suposedly isnt that bad but your best bet is to do the afforementioned AND/OR buy EMS standalone and run speed density.

You can get eh HKS EIDS and it will help fight the stalling issues.

I just got the HKS EIDS but I don't need it now. It's for sale for $95.00 shipped.

Why do you want to VTA? sound? You may be surprised at how loud the HKS or Greddy can be when setup properly as a recirc. Just my 2c.

Hey Ben, I wanted to know your expierience with this product because I wanted to see if this actually worked or not. Otherwise, I'm going to go with a blow through MAF setup to run atmospheric. Thanks in advance.

Do You Have An Intake System? I Have Just The Turbo Xs Rfl On My Evo And My Car Does Not Stall At All. I Then Put An Aem Intake System On And Then Started Stalling Out When The Rpm's Dropped.

I don't have this installed on my personal vehicle yet. I am hoping by some mircale that is will be able to tune it out with my UTEC but it is becoming a tougher thing to do then I though. I also think TXS might add this feature to thier utec. I have been in car before and after they installed it. It did idle better and did not stall.

The blowthrough setup will be better for power because it won't slow down the MAD responce to the ECU at all. But the EIDS is alot cheaper. Unless you found a different blow through setup that is alot cheaper. If you did let me know

This is because of the aftermarket intakes. The tubing after the MAF helps it not to stall. Omce you change it to a striaghter tubing it seems to stall the EVO. The only aftermarket intake I know of that keeps that hose it the TurboXS shorty intake. There is a big thread about it in the engine section somewhere. I will post a link hear if I come across it.

Thanks for your reply Ben. What I'm going to do is invest in all new custom piping to get my blow through setup done. Seems like the most logical way to run the Type S VTA. Thanks again!
