Thumbs up Review of Invidia Cat Back and Test Pipe...

Just installed a megan racing test pipe and the invidia N1 catback exhaust on my evo last week.

For the first few days I did not notice any big difference in power except maybe a little less low end torque it seemed... But after having the parts on the car now for more than a week, I've noticed SIGNIFICANT power increase in the upper RPMs now, much more pull than when the car was stock up top... Also it's alot louder now, but the invidia system has a silencer that I will probably have to put on once I install my down pipe..

Now I just need to get the MBC on and the downpipe and reflash it and see how it drives then... But for now I definitely highly recommend the Invidia cat back for a great exhaust sound and perfect fit

I really need to be cleaning out my garage so I can park my Evo inside now instead of posting new threads but oh well, hope this helps some potential buyers out there... I think I paid $425 for my catback system....

Nice. I have the Invidia Downpipe and Catback, but I went with the UR test pipe. But once you get the downpipe on there I think is when you will really notice the difference.

Do you think Mitsubishi would void my warranty on a turbo back exhaust for example if my tranny goes out or something unrelated happens?

No....the only way they can void your warranty is if they can prove something you did to your car cause some sort of failure related to the system that it affects. For example, If you stuck a boost controller on your car and you had a wheel bearing go bad or something...they can't void your warrantly because of the boost controller. Or say you had a set of coilovers and you ended up having some sort of paint defect (like i did)....they can't void your warranty over that.....if they did....just walk away with a devilish grin imagining the sheriff walking to the dealership delivering the court papers for their non-performance lawsuit. Hope this helps!

It has a good sound too it, very good sound. I have a test pipe in place of my catalytic at the moment, so it's a little loud when at WOT... But it comes with a silencer that will quiet it down totally if you want it like that...

Somebody posted an Invidia Turbo-Back review a few weeks ago. Search for it. It has a great video of it and some pics. Personally, I didn't find it too loud, even with the test pipe. Not NEARLY as loud as a HELIX w/ test pipe.

Hey I just installed my Invidia Exhaust....everything looks great, but the down pipe does not even come close to clearing the stock cross memebers going under the pipe. I have left them off for now. Help!!
