Not to hijack this thread, but I j/had a question regarding my greddy type-s bov.
I have the single spring mod done.
Now when i'm driving on the highway in 5th between 3k-3500rpm the BOV has a constant whistle. It is VERY annoying. How do I get rid of it? Should I tighten the screw? or loosen it?

^^ got the same problem, you have to tighten it, but you don't want to tighten it too much or else it'll start fluttering again. that whistling seems to just be the characteristic of the greddy type s.. i'm fine with it for now but there's a good chance i'll be swapping it out for a DV in the near future.
Just installed my greddy type S...and it sounds like whooshing the whole time under 4500 rpms. Just wondering if this is normal. My boost gauge shows that it is holding boost...I am just hoping that my turbo is not having to work extra hard because some is leaking??? I did the single spring mod...maybe I will go play with it tonight
It is about halfway between tight and loose...
