Question RNR GT30R Kit

Hi Guys

I am seriously considering going for this Kit with equal lenth manifold. The new Group Buy price looks soo tempting.
But befor i fully commit I would like some feed, back good or bad, i'm sure there's a few of you out there runing this set up on a 2ltr.

Feel free to post on here or if you prefer, PM me.

How much is the group buy and what mods do you have on your car?

the group buy is around $3000 for the whole kit including equal lenth manifold.

Mods are.. 2ltr with Omega Pistons, Arrow Rods, Grp A Cams,1000cc injectors, MoTeC ECU and all the usual bits ie uprated exhaust, fuel pump, air filter

I will try and get some dyno sheets up today. To be honest with you most of our customers are going straight to GT35R W/equal length manifold. Also the GT35R has a new real cool ported shroud. I will post some more info in the Group buy thread too.

Thanks Ryan, that would be helpful.

Regarding the GT35 iv'e searched the Forums and the majority of people prefer the smaller sized kits when runing the standard 2ltr. If i had a 2.2 or 2.3 then the GT35R would be pefrect but on a standard lump it has to be the GT30R for road and some track driving (track meaning bends, not quarters lol)

I would then suggest the GT30R w/equal length manifold. This will be great set up and is something new we recently started using. Everyone has been very happy with this set up.

These are the turbos I really like

50 trim
GT30R (3052)
GT35R

i would go for the GT30R evey time on a 2.0ltr. will give you upto 550bhp (i think) and spool quicker than a 35r would.

a bit of a side point but RNR's manifold is VERY good. Norris Designs said it was one of the best they had seen. and coming from them that means its good!

all the best. thanks Chris.

That is a big compliment coming from Norris. I know they had some good numbers from a manifold they were testing over there.

I was wondering, for RnR. A stock motor, with lets say, EMS with UEGO, head studs, Tomei Procams, HKS gears, 880cc injectors, fuel rail, 225lph pump, good i/c and associated plumbing with the speed density system set up, what would the differences be between:

RnR GT30 equal length
RnR GT35 equal length header, i.e., spool charachteristics, driveability and overall power gains as well as risk to engine damamge and longevity?
