I received my intake back today and thought the porting job was very well done. Whoever does your porting work gets a big

Dave, now that you had a chance to actually drive the RS on the street, how are the 280s? Would you recommend them for a street car?

Dave would probably recommend driving his RWD 2G on the street if he could get a license plate on it.

The 280's are great, I like everything about them, especially the sound.

I have the Exedy triple disc in my car.

Thanks for the compliments on the intake manifold porting. We kept the cost of it low as there isn't a ton that has to be done. Smooth and port match the runners and match the TB end up to our larger TB. Glad you are happy with it.

DAVID the Exedy triple Disc...$$$ ...but an awesom clutch though from what i've read!

What kinda of gains can be realized from porting intake manifold and purchasing t-body??

Any info on the 21g turbo upgrade we're all eager

I've wondered the same thing. It looks like a difficult install without step by step instructions. Can anyone give a quick and dirty description about what you have to do and what the toughest part is? The actual price of the TB and ported manifold seem very reasonable.

The toughest part is getting the bracket on the back of the intake off the intake and block. The rest isn't too bad. Intake porting with the 65mm TB is 10 whp.

I tested the 21g. Working out very good. I have some datalogs comparing the stock turbo to this and am pleased with what I am seeing.

Check the parts update thread for more information.

Dave: I'm making 355-360 hp right now on pump gas with aem. If I install your 65mm tb, ported exh. manifold, 10.5 hotside, and larger FMIC what #s can I expect? Have you done a test with a header opposed to your exh. manifold? Thanks.. H/b

The parts you listed that you may add will add between 15 and 40 whp, depending on how it is tuned and how well the combination is working now. I know that is a wide range of HP but the intake/tb added 10, porting added another 15 or so of the exhaust parts and the FMIC kit is 15, so I am trying to come up with something realistic for you.

The only header I tested was one I built and the power up top was about the same but a large loss in midrange.
