The newest version of the 21g is on my bench. I have no time to put it on the car again. As soon as I can get a chance I will give it another try.

The exhaust wheel has been clipped on this one and the compressor has been modified.

Finally.

We are now ready to release and sell the new bolt on 21g turbos.

I tested the newest version of this turbo this morning and I am very happy with the results.

Spool up is very close to the stock clipped turbo that was on the car. I am getting over 20 psi by 2800 rpm in 5th gear with the car.

The boost doesn't spike as much as it did with the stock turbo, it is hitting 23 psi and then holds 21 psi to redline. This is much better than the stock turbo which will hit 25 psi on the spike and be down to as low as 16-17 psi by redline.

This turbo unclipped gained 2+ mph in the 1/4 on my RS a few weeks ago. We clipped the turbine wheel to get rid of the compressor surge problems we were having with it.

The turbo has NO surge on my car while accelerating now.

I will get to the track next week and do some testing.

These will only be available clipped as they surge violently without the clipping.

The clipping increases the exhaust flow.

Nice work Buschur. How much power/torque should we expect on pump gas (93 octane)

I have an 04 Evo I bought in mid October of 04. I heard that in the late 04 model year they were using 10.5 hotsides. do you know if this is true? If I indeed don't have the 10.5 hotside will you offer that with the 21G as a package?

Go read the markings on your exhaust housing. It should either say 98t or 105t (might have to look underneath).

On the compressor side it says TD05-(something)-9.8T, but it could be mismatched. I will have to look from under the car.

Nice work! I'll be sure to watch for dyno pulls and quarter mile times from this new turbo. Stock my car would do 20 PSI by 3100 RPMs in 5th and with some AFC tuning and installing the filter/MAS pipe/upper IC pipes I've gotten it down to 2900 RPMS. All I have left is to install the 3" Buschur TBE and hopefully I'll be even lower but 2800 RPM spool for the 21G is excellent! I think my 50 trim ball bearing turbo in the Eclipse is right around 3100 but of course the car hits a bit harder than the Evo, atleast for now. It's crazy how loud the intake and BOV is on my car without a real exhaust on.

Keep us updated on the 21G for sure.

When might we see a back to back power compare of your latest 21g vs std 16g with similar turbine housings on pump gas?

There isn't a package price for the turbo, intake and TB, sorry.

The '04's do not all have 10.5 housings, my RS is an '04 and did NOT have a 10.5. The 2005's all have the 10.5 housing.

I have run this turbo on the car already at the track back to back to the stock modified turbo I had on the car. The difference was the 21g with less boost ran 2 mph faster. This clipped version should be the same results.

As for dyno'ing the two back to back, it is going to be quite awhile. Our 2wd Dynojet is coming out of the ground today, it is sold. The new MD dyno won't be here for about 5 weeks.
