Black intercoolers...

Is there a way to make an intercooler black without effecting cooling performance?

I'd imagine you'd need to anodize it? Obviously paint wouldn't work LOL

There is a special product ( don't remember the name of it) that a past issue of SCC had shown in it's "sleeper car" section.


They also noted that it was tested, and a thin coat of spray paint doesn't affect the perofmance of the intercooler.

I am at work right now, but when I get home, I will look up what it was.
