My 03 evo started doing this today....

I installed a MBC and a boost gauge yesterday but I doesnt seem like they could cause this.....

This really sux because I cant run threw the gears because I cant time the shifts...
Car runs perfect and shifts perfect when Im not on it and shifting fast so I dont know whats going on.....

Example: took 4th gear to 6000rpms running 1.2bar, clutch in shifting to 5th, rpms drop to 5500rpm maybe 5000rpm, let out the clutch and it grabs and pulles the revs down to 4000rpm, where they should have droped to normally......WTF

In the lower gears like 1st,2nd,or 3rd its seems like the revs actually go up when i first put the clutch in to shift.....Like I was late with taking my foot off of the gas.....

Cant really have fun with her right now but was able to toast a sti with a 4th gear pull tonight(3100rpm to 6100rpm then let off) by 2 cars....
I have TBE,flash,intake,mbc....

I got alittle off topic there but have any of you fixed this yet?

it's outside temp, MAF reading. if you goto that link on page 1, you'll see it's been discussed before.

it's either that or your throw out bearing.

but most likely MAF sensor acting on when the weather gets colder.

Try it when it's warm, rev should drop a bit faster.
