Better handling?

I am looking for the the best way to get the most stability and cornering without taking any small steps that I will throw away or sell later.

My question is what would the best set-up be for my whole suspension upgrade. I plan to put a roll-cage in the car. I am assuming I would need a thicker rear swaybar and possibly a better front swaybar? Would I need any other type of bracing other than that or will the cage provide enough for uptop?

I also assume I should use uerethane bushings all around. The other question would be what type of actual suspension? I am looking for the best suspension for auto-crossing and some sort of road racing. I do drive the car every day but don't care TOO much about bouncing around. What type of coil-overs should I get (Preferably under $1,600) or would I be ok with just springs and struts? I am relatively clueless when it comes to this stuff.

The Tien set-up is good. Full adjustability, so you could have street settings and Auto-x preloads. You can get them without the in car control for close to what your looking to spend. I personally don't have them, but I've driven cars that have and its exceptional.

Front sway bar is pretty good as is and I would say an upgrade to a 3-way adjustable in back would b3e good.

Really the best non adjustable set-up is the one from the factory so just a strut/spring upgrade will not yield much other than a better stance. So IMO if your looking to do some fine tuning at the track coilovers are the way to go. Put that together with a good allignment and chances are the car will be able to outdrive you.

I would'nt mess with any poly bushings.Except for maybe on the sway bars. All the control arm bushings are pretty stout from the factory and if you go much more it can severly effect ride quality. I would maybe use polly for the rear engine mount also.
