Mirage engine swap to 4g63
I used the existing trailing arms. I welded in bearing housings from dsm awd arms. I then completely fabricated a frame to support the rear end. My goal was to keep it light as possible. I used the stock tank and mounted it behind the axle line. My framework is likely stiffer than a factory gsr. If I had to do it again I would buy a rear clip from evo1-3 no matter what the cost.
For wht you are doing, using evo8 parts instead of dsm parts, you should use the evo8 rear parts. they are very easy to adapt to fit comparred to how I did mine. You have to use the evo8 pumpkin anyway so that is the smartest rought.

i've got all evo4 parts right now including AYC which i'd like to rid myself of...including control arms....the mirage frame ralls look as though they are ready to accept the cradle assembly...and all the arms should mount up...what i was going to do was cut out 2 portions of the rails and give them the proper mounting for the cradle....the only mouints i'd be missing are the center pan mount and the furthest most aft mounts located again in the frame rails...I allready have new brakes/suspension etc etc...all i'll need is a new fuel tank and custom driveshaft...but i think i'm just gonna grab an evo4-6 tank which i'm hopping bolts up directly....but i wont know untill i get it here...
