I have installed it between the turbo and wastegate (about 18" away). Although this does not seem to be the most popular method, it does seem to be the least likely method to cause "spikes". I have personal experience with another Evo who runs this way just fine.

Don't get me wrong people, I did not post to bash Hallman. My experience lyes almost 100% with EBCs. So, this is more of a probe of those who used the product to see if I truly am "the only one". Suggestions more than welcome. I'm planning on making myself a "pressure cap" in order to rule out any leaks. However, I really don't think I have any.

How exactly do you set the boost when the MBC is located under the hood ? can you park the car and have some one rev it while you adjust/ watch boost gauge? or do you have to drive it floor it watch boost gauge , get out tamper with it get in drive it floor it watch boost gauge etc.. pretty ignorant question but I honestly dont know

^^^Yes, unless you get the incar control then you can adjust from the cockpit. Without the in car controler you will have to do just as you said.

It only took me a couple of minutes to get the peak right. I did a pull in 1st gear, set it, a pull in 2nd gear set it, a pull in third, set it then I went on the high way, ran threw them to make sure it wouldnt spike higher than I wanted.

I was just wondering what gauge you are using, I did get a reflash from Al I believe the reflash helps.

Works P2 Flash, Blitz DTT boost gauge (was dead on compared to the Autometer)... I'll be doing a pressure test Monday to make sure there is no issue with leaks.

I recently installed the Hallman PRO RX on my EVO and right now it goes to 1.5 Bar and tapers back down to 1.35 Bar using the stiffer spring, when I first tried it with the soft spring it would taper to about 1.2 Bar. I've got an even stiffer spring than the stiff one it came with and I'm thinking about trying that out. I got my MBC hooked up from the BOV line.

I would check the upper Intake Line where the BOV connects.
