HELP!! Just installed exhaust and having some problems

Hello everyone,

I just installed my full turbo back exhaust (new O2 housing, downpipe, test pipe, and exahaust) and It feels great until I hit full boost and then it feels like I hit a brick wall, feels exactly like a rev limiter (or fuel cut)

I have Mitsu's factory guages and when I was stock I was pegging 1.5 bar and now I creep past it a little. Could this fuel cut be coming cause I'm hitting too much boost? I didn't think that my exhaust should make my boost spike that much.

Also my sevice engine light cam on after about 40miles of driving. Is there anyway to pull the code real easy? I want to make sure it just cause I have no cat... I'm a little worried that I didnt tighten the O2 housing well enough. If I had an exhaust leak near the O2 housing would that cause the fuel cut, or the CEL??

you're gettgin fuel cut. When I put my 3" turbo-back in I noticed a 4PSI increase. I backed it down with my MBC... hope you have one installed.

For the SES light go to Autozone and have them read the code. It's most likely the P0042 code esp. since you're using the testpipe. Do a search on this there are several threads on how to stop the light from coming on because of your now missing catalytic converter.

For the CEL light you can get the 02 stimulator, it came with my exhaust and I don't have a CEL anymore. If you have a boost controller turn the boost down.

Install your O2 simulater and reset your ECU by disconnecting the battery during the install.

Time to teach your car some new tricks!!!
