fuel cut?

Driving home I get on the gas in 3rd gear to pass a slow car. All of a sudden it literally feels like i hit a brick wall. Boost drops to 0 for a split second then back up to about 19. Then does the same thing around 6k. Thought it was just the bumpy michigan road I was on but it did the same thing on a smooth section of road. Wideband at full throttle from around 4k to 5200 is 12.2 and it use to read 11.2. No new mods since last winter. Only thing that has changed is im having abs issues so I have the abs fuse pulled. It didnt do this the other day when I took my friend for a ride. Could the pump be going bad because of my o2 readings have changed?

Definitely sounds like boost cut, but hard to say without actually being there.
. Also, If you are at 12:1+ at mid-higher rpm, I'd stay out of it. That's too lean for pump gas.

i pulled codes at work and had a bunch. map/maf/wastegate/misfire and o2 that is missing. cleaned maf and map cleared codes and turned mbc down. it doesnt hit cut anymore but it does seem im getting boost creep though when i turned it down. ill have to pay more attention later when i check it again. it seemed to creep from 16 at around 4500 to 19 at redline.

Just a friendly observation

Youre adjusting boost without being tuned? How can you do this not knowing your AFR's, knock & all the other important parameters?

Sounds to me like you need a tune & stop adjusting boost

i have a wideband. and im not throwing huge boost at it. its set right around where it was boosting when i got the car and put the boost gauge in and its been like that for almost 6 years. hasnt increased hasnt decreased until now. i took the factory controller off because i was suppose to get it tuned but **** happens and i never was able to and lost intrest in tuning it. never had a problem with this car until now.

Can you tune with the stock solenoid? I thought it had to be removed. That's why I asked.

The controller part was for kaj asking lol. It is removed. Well removed as in no vac lines hooked up to it but it's still plugged in to the harness.
