I installed Crower Springs and retainers and it improved valvetrain noise with HKS 272s.

No difference Jeff... it's an adjuster issue... once it is warmed up, the taping goes away.

i just recently noticed some burning oil out of my exhaust so i pulled my turbo off because off shaft play...... turned out it was bad but after looking @ my # 2 cyl exhaust port i had a good amount of oil in the area (i have been running hks272's for about 2 years) compression check was good accross the board so i'm suspecting the valve seals. i'm going to pull my head in the next couple of days to make sure it is indeed the seals... thanks for all the technical info in this thread great read!!!! sorry to bring this post back up but i thought it fit in with the discussion.

Thanks for the info. This is actually a good long term test for those of us that were initially worried!
