The shaft play won't do a thing, after my engine blew, the turbo's shaft play was crazy, and they all said it'd be fine, it'd just make the turbo's life shorter...but this was Mitsu techs

Question

shaft play is funny, many people thing it is fine, but if you can move the shaft arround a whole lot then you have issues not if it just wiggles a lil bit it is fine, and how did you gernade you engine?

a few question for you..
-if you are bone stock then why were you changing the intercooler? was there problems with your old one (you should still be under warranty) or was that the first mod you were doing to the car????!!!
-Do you have a boost gauge?? If not get one.. Get a really cheap crappy one even.. just get something so you can tell how many #'s the car is running and you will know if your turbo is wasted
-and a LITTLE oil is fine.. nothing to worry about..
-Lastly.. Does the car FEEL slower or different then it once did???

ok the reason im puting the intercooler on is because i got an upgraded 1. i got about 8 grand in parts and more on the way i was just waiting to put them on. when i desided to put the car togeather the 1st thing i took off was the fmic. then the issue came along and i have a boost gadge just not in so u think puting that in will narrow down my problem a bit?

I'm sorry if my post seemed mean, but I simply couldn't read your post. I honestly hope your problem will be fixed and you are able to install all your new parts.

yes... get your gauges in and then you will be able to see what the problem is... If your car isn't boosting to full boost reading on the gauge, then your turbo may possibly be wasted... if so.. return the car to stock.. take to the dealer.. and demand that they replace your turbo....

I think that when you hook up the gauges though everything should read fine... I bet a lot of it is mental....

If you find that his typing/english skills are disrespectful, YOU got problems buddy.
Now maybe if the guy spit in your face, I could see a problem, maybe you should learn some respect and not waste everyone time posting about what seems to be a personal probem...

So you had the time to read the post and post up some stupid reply, yet cannot help the guy out. Its people like you that make these message boards a haven for morons who have nothing better to do than power trip on the internet. Save your energy and our bandwidth next time and do not respond at all. If you need attention, please consult a psychologist.

Who the heck asked for respect? Maybe you get your jollies trying to merit "respect" off an internet board, but for the rest of us, respect is earned by your actions not by your grammatical skills. Ever think that english might be his second language? Or maybe your level of comprehension is too parochial to even formulate that thought. Thanks for chiming in though Dr. grammar. By the way, learn how to spell "decipher" correctly before going off on someone else's grammar.

$8K in parts!!?? I'm Hoping you are not planning on installing them all rapid fire. If you do you will probably have some engine management issues. You might already have a plan but if you don't you might want to consider a realistic upgrade path. look at the staged upgrades offered by company's like Vishnu and Buscher and try to mimic with the parts you have already purchased. Plus its always a good idea to get a professional tune at each upgrade stage. Good luck
