I just noticed tonight that I am leaking something( oil) from somewhere under the hood. The leak is coming from somewhere on the passenger side of the engine bay, not exactly sure where. the best way to describe where the location may be is if you are looking under the hood, where the power steering fluid is located, almost directly underneath that near the bottm of the bay is where i believe it to be coming from. it was cold and dark outside so I did not venture under the car. Anyone have any ideas? please help me. thanks

 

what color is the fluid?

 

Any recent oil changes? It sounds like you're close to the oil filter...

Or check the oil cooler hoses, clamps

 

yeah i dont believe that i ran over anything that might have damaged anything, however i did not have this problem until my last service, i am thinking maybe an improperly tightened filter, drian bolt or not the right crush washer...these sound like possibilities?

 

As suggested, I'd check the oil cooler and lines.
