Im not sure what boostcut means....... i know what fuelcut means and if thats anything like that it feels like the car turned itself off for a split second and turned back on. you can imagine why that not good for the car in any way shape or form. also makes a knock sound like hiting a wood fence with a tent stake mallet.

It is scary, u will think u have blown your engine. The car will jolt forward and act like the engine has died. It is very violent, or at least mine was.

The reason some people are getting boost cut and other not @ 19/20psi and higher etc is not because of the gas - but because of the altitude ...

20.5 on 91 in the Los Angeles Area is pretty safe ...

does it cut while you are still accelerating (foot on gas)? I feel the car jolt when I am accerelating and suddenly release the gas (this is at 60mph+). I am running 20.5 in los angeles.

Is that so? I've always wondered too, cuz I've never hit boost cut. I've even spiked to 21psi on a cold day. I keep it at 19.5-20psi most of the times though. 93 oct, in Houston, never had a noticeable problem.
