Any Variation between 264 all the way up to 280 cam profiles will yeild the same WHP on a stock turbo. You will have slighty faster spool on the 264, maybe by 100RPMs but I get full spool by 3000 on my 272/272 combo.

thanks everyone for there input, i think im going to go w/ the 264/264, i just cant see getting the 272/272 when im not going to be using the power thats above 5000 rpm, when most of my driving is below that, the idle im not concerened about i actually think it would be kinda cool to have the loppy idle, anyways thanks everyone.

Would there be any power increase in getting a 280i/272e setup rather then a 272i/264e setup? And would you only get the larger setup if you had a larger turbo.

Sorry to drudge this up from old, but I got cam questions

the 272/272 really make a difference up top. i had my car dynoed before (intake, exhaust, dp) and after (plus cams and cam gears) and at 7000rpms (you guys know the power id have up there before) after the cams i retained 30whp more than before.

I would like to see the results of a 272/280 combo, as the 272's have more lift, I think it may make more power.

all the HKS cams have the same lift, the only difference is duration...
