There are several other great clutches out there:
  • Excedy
  • Clutchnet
The type of clutch needed depends on the application.
For Street performance The Clutchnet with the standard pressure plate works. You get excelent driveability, without the harshness of the Steel clutch/ steel pressure plate combination.

For Those with modified street cars the Excedy organic clutch kit is excelent. Kit comes with clutch, pressure plate, clutch release bearing, pilot bearing, and clutch alignment tool.

For those with serious HP The Excedy Hyper Kit comes with Clutch, pressure plate, Flywheel.

As Many of you may or may not know Ralliart clutches are made by Excedy. So you buy Excedy and Pay almost 3/4 the price.

I have had my ACT HDSS in for about 10,000 miles, Have raced at a few drag events, running low 12's and high 11's, no problems yet. Daily Driver.

the act is great, we sell a ton of them and only hear great things back from our customers. I have one being installed in my 2005 evo as we speak so I'll post updates once its done. I think its the best clutch for anyone with under 450 whp. act always worked on the eclipse/talons and has a great name in general.

PS: if anyone needs one I have a ton in stock and we sell for 485 shipped or act/fidanza for 815 shipped.
