the typhoon intake is bad news, the other stuff is reasonable

why is it bad news? for that i think you'll need to search. suffice to say it is not doing you any favors, especially without tuning

I plan on getting the car tuned, just not right away. I'm pretty sure that I'll be all right to run the car this way, I'm just being extra careful I guess.

"dangerous???" I wouldn't call it dangerous, per say. But like ex76 said, you'll need to tune for your mods (especially the intake). Get it done right (TUNING) and you'll get nothing but satisfaction from your mods.

it's not dangerous. All intakes will give you some lean spots and extremely rich spots. That's why you need to tune it. I would wait until you get tuned to put the intake on. Meanwhile, the stock intake could do the job just fine with those mods.

It's not just the intake per se.

The K&N typhoon in particular is notorious on our cars:

There now you don't need to search as much :-)

We do not recommend using the Typhoon intake on EVOs. Stick with the Injen Intake, or HKS RS. And you can always use the tried and true K&N drop in filter.

Good luck

as stated above, pass on the intake. Everyting else will be just fine... you'll run pig rich on the stock tune, but you will not hurt anything.

I had a K&N in my car for exactly one hour and then removed it and sent it back. Over 4000 RPM fuel cut would come on. I even talked to K&N and they told me to turn my MAS upside down. I don't like to play games with the car. If it does not work correctly I send it back. You do need to tune the car for the intake, but I would not recommend this intake. Go with the drop in K&N or HKS. Just my two cents.
